There are lots of people trying to start small businesses, blogs, or non-profits just trying to have a web presence. I have lots of WordPress experience and would like to help you! Features that I can provide:
- Forms - whether you want a contact form, reservations, or just collecting information about your visitors in general, I can create custom forms to meet your needs that look like they are part of your website. These forms can be configured to send you an E-mail, copy others, and track all of the users in a database.
- Flash slide show – If you have pictures of something that you would like to showcase I can add a Flash slide show. Example.
- Blog - Blogs are the rave lately. You have to have a blog to be someone. Seriously though, WordPress can be used as a non-blog website and also have a blog as a page on the site like this one. Just click on the blog link above.
- Payment buttons – I can configure payment options for your customers to donate/pay you directly from your website.
Install and configuration:
Whether you already have hosting or are looking for the complete package deal, I can help. I can login to your hosting site and perform a complete install, upgrade an existing install, or do it all. This would include domain registration, hosting setup, WordPress install, upload theme, and more. When I’m done you will have a functioning website with the URL of your choice. You will be able to login to your website and immediately start posting content. Here are a couple of exaples of sites that offer WordPress templates:
Install analytics
This is how you will track information about your visitors. Google analytics offers a free way to track how many visitors you receive per day, what search engine got them to your website, what words they were searching for when they got to your site, and a whole lot more. This is critical information to track if changes to your website have made a positive or negative impact. This also includes an XML sitemap which helps search engines find all the information available on your website.
Trouble shooting HTML, PHP, CSS
Are you having trouble with the look and feel of your website? Does the free template you just uploaded have some things that you wish you could change? I can help with that too. I have made many customizations to themes like changing the banner image, removing page titles, change fonts, and many other things.
Admin page
This is a portion of you website that only you will have access to which makes it extremely easy for you to make changes. This is probably the biggest money saver for you because you don’t have to pay anyone to make changes to your website. It’s as easy to use as Microsoft Word and allows someone without HTML experience to update content on their website.
